Component 1: Capacity Building & Community Support

The first component involves awareness raising, capacity building and support for development and implementation of climate investment plans at the local level, through development and dissemination of climate change awareness materials and conducting of regional trainings on proposals writing and reporting in order to access grant funding under the CBNRM EDA Project grant facility. Moreover, it involves support to local-level climate monitoring, by developing a climate monitoring system (using the existing Events Book System) with supporting training materials’.
